Here we go!
Several months ago as I was falling asleep with Africa on my mind God impressed upon my heart a plan to get shoes to Africa. I had watched a video on YouTube several weeks before and was so disturbed by a problem that is SO huge in several parts of Africa and does NOT have to be! With the simple desire to give people hope and a healthy future I knew I had to try to get soles on these beautiful people’s feet!
So here we go! I am attempting to do something I know NOTHING about with the help of my friends, family, community and of course, God. As I started this journey I thought I would simply collect shoes and give ship them to Africa. I soon found out from my dear friend Andrea that it could cost THOUSANDS to send these shoes and there are a lot of hurdles to jump in order to get them to Zambia. SO, plan B. (You always have to have a plan B ya know 
) We need to raise $7,000 to get 450 orphans and widows shoes that are a part of Wiphan Care Ministries. I am still trying to see if there is a way I can ship these shoes that have been donated already and get them to Africa for less than thousands of dollars.
